Hi, this is Chris Brown. Musician Pages is a place for us to share knowledge about music and performance. I'll be posting information about the stage, the studio and the practice room.
I love playing live music and my goal here is to share the love with you. There is so much that goes in to live performance...Tone, dynamics, communication, interaction, gear, ability... the list could go on.
I hope with this web site we can uncover some of the details of how we do what we do...maybe we can all learn something new. The endless quest for knowledge... That's what music is, right? |

I just spent some time researching and ordering some awesome upgrades for my Stratocaster. I'm really excited! I'm going to shield it, star ground it and hook it up with the highest quality parts I could locate.

Check out my tie dye grilled, treble cut modded Marshall Micro Stack. They are also known as a Marshall Lead 12 (3005). Mine is a 1986 and I think they made them like this untill the mid 90s but I'm not sure. They have a new one but it's not the same amp... just the same look.
Click in for big photos and details about the treble cut mod which really sweetens up the tone of this cool little amp. |

Just though I'd drop a quick note about my newest build... It's just another tube screamer... all hand wired of course... I built it so that I could A/B opamps against each other on stage. I guess I'm looking for the opamp that oozes harmonics or something like that... I don't know. Anyway, check out the photos. Have fun.

Just thought I'd drop an update about my newest electronics project. I'm building an analogue multi-fx unit for myself.
I've been gigging with various pedal board configurations for the last few years and at this point I know exactly what I use, so I figure why not put it all in one box? I'm merging all of my favorite circuits into one big box so that I only have to carry my multi-fx box, a wah wah and sometimes a delay.. I might add delay to the multi-fx later... |
