Martini Park has a fun stage. You will be performing behind the bar on an elevated stage. With a fun crowd, upscale menu and 3 bars it's worth carrying your gear up half a case of stairs.
http://martinipark.com/plano/ The Stage The stage is elevated behind the bar... you are above and behind the bartenders as they work. The back wall of the stage is covered with square shelves... electric candles flicker behind you. It's not the biggest stage around but we've had 5 piece bands up there with no problems. They have their own sound system and the sound guys do a good job. Billy is usually the sound guy / DJ on the nights we play and we always have good monitors on stage. Our friends say the sound out front is very hi-fi. Bring a small amp if you can... you won't be able to get as loud as you want if you do. Also there is the stair case... the less you have to carry the easier this gig is.
There is plenty of power. Four floor outlets are available across the back of the stage. Load In / Load Out Load in and load out happens from the back entrance. Turn left into the parking garage (you'll see valets) and left into the little parking lot behind martini park. You will need to ring the buzzer and wait for someone to let you in. Carry your gear through the kitchen, down the long hall, and out the double doors. The stage stairs will be on your right as soon as you go through the double doors. It's easy with a cart. The end of the bar is by the stage stairs but it's usually not crowded enough to matter during load in. If your cart or dolly is compact then you should be able to keep the cart at the bottom of the stairs all night in the little dark spot that usually has a broom in it. When you go out back between sets use the small piece of ripped cardboard that the employees leave by the door to make sure that you don't get locked out. You stick it between the lock and the door frame as the door closes. If you miss the cardboard then you will have to ring the buzzer to get back in. There will still be a crowd when you are loading out and sometimes the area at the bottom of the stage stairs is crowded.... Wiggle your way through and go back out through the kitchen like you came in. Don't for get the cardboard in the door on the way out if you have to make multiple trips.  Here we are on the Martini Park stage jamming with Cowboy Troy.
